Our wines
Monferrato Rosso Pinot Borgo Moncalvo
Our Monferrato D.O.C. Rosso is produced entirely with Pinot Nero grapes.

The selection of the grapes takes place at the annual grape harvest, just before the crushing.

The fermentation is followed by an 8 day maceration at controlled temperature.

The refining of the wine lasts 18 months in barrique and 12 months in bottle.

The colour is ruby red.

The smell is featured by scents like tobacco, black pepper and vanilla followed by a perception of ripe cherry and mixed barriers.

The taste is dry with strong tannin and slightly bitter aftertaste.

Alcohol: 13,5% vol.

Serving temperature: 16-18°C.

Combinations: excellent with elaborate dishes, red meat, goat, braised and game meat, seasoned and blue cheese.
