Our wines
1924 is the year of birth of grandfather Pierino, the third generation of Borgo Moncalvo people.
The dedication to Pierino is due to the typicality of the wine with its own territory of consumption.
Dolcetto d'Asti DOC for its softness and its harmony can be defined as wine "of all meals" typical of this land.
Delicate and fragrant red wine, it’s got from a careful selection of grapes that later are pressed and will macerate for at least one week.
After a short aging, Dolcetto d’Asti, over the months from May to June, it’s ready for delivery to the market and for consumption.
Ruby red color with violet highlights, on the nose it offers fruity notes of cherry and raspberry.
In the mouth it is dry, with evident tannin and of good structure.
Alcohol: 12-13% vol.
Serving temperature: 15-17 ° C.
Combinations: wine suitable for all food, ideal with appetizers, first courses and white meat.
